Will it clog?+
Leaves stay on top and blow off. Fine debris can collect over time, so we suggest a quick look once a year and a professional cleaning every 3-5 years.
Will it come loose?+
Each section is screwed to the gutter. It never goes under your shingles, so wind and snow don't lift it.
Will it affect my roof warranty?+
Yes — guards that slide under your shingles can. Lifting the first course breaks the self-seal strip, wind can then lift or curl the edge shingles, and screws through the guard into the roof deck create leak paths. Major shingle makers like GAF and Owens Corning say inserting anything under the shingles can compromise coverage in that area. Our guards fasten to the gutter, so we never touch your shingles or roof.
Does it work on my gutters?+
It's made for standard residential K-style gutters. We confirm during the free estimate.
Can you see it from the street?+
It has a dark, low-profile finish that's hard to see from the street.
What's the warranty?+
A lifetime limited warranty on the guards for as long as you own the home. If a guard cracks, warps or rusts through from a defect, we repair or replace it free, parts and labor. It covers the guards, not your gutters or roof, and not storm damage or guards moved by another contractor. Planning roof or gutter work? Call us first and we'll remove and reinstall the guards so your warranty stays in place.
Is a gutter cleaning included?+
Yes. When you choose Complete, we include a complimentary gutter cleaning. On top of that, we suggest a quick look once a year and a professional cleaning every 3-5 years.
